Alexia Lopez, a UK PhD student, has discovered a second new structure in space that scientists say challenges our current understanding of the universe.

Dubbed the Big Sphincter, the new structure is a giant black hole of a size never seen before.

What is challenging is that instead of sucking matter in, the Big Sphincter expels waste matter in enormous quantities by sucking in planets at one end and shooting them out the other end in the form of giant galactic turds that then hurtle off into outer space, stinking the place up.

Scientists now think the sphincter may originally be responsible for the Big Bung, thought to be responsible for the origin of the Universe as a mass of matter was expelled in all directions from the sphincter in its infancy.

Australian astronomer Bill "Hoyle" Heslop commented:

At last we have discovered the source of the Big Bung that created the universe. We just don't know where the matter came from that was expelled by the Big Sphincter.

Hey Muriel! Fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched.
