When an AI bot was asked who should win the UK election, it came back with a surprising answer: Vladimir Putin!

The AI justified its choice with the following reasons:

• The UK needs a strong leader but there are none in the current election lineup
• Electing Putin will enable the UK - aka Airstrip One - to stand up to the USA
• Putin would not allow the military to fall further behind than it already has
• This is someone who would finally get Brexit, currently an oven-ready Turkey, done
• We could do with a foreign secretary like Lavrov who actually knows what he is doing

Naturally, the AI has been called a 'Putin-stooge' and accused of spreading disinformation and being controlled by Russian hackers.

But the developers claim that the AI has been trained on content relating to the woeful British political scene for the last two decades and that the conclusion is hardly a surprise.

As Workers Party MP George Galloway memorably put it, the Conservatives and Labour are cheeks of the same ass - much like Biden and Trump in the USA - and both full of wind.

The hashtag #PutinForPM is already trending on X and the Russian President is likely to overtake the LibDems in popularity within the next few days.
