The backlash has already started in that Jeff Bezos has cancelled Musk's Prime membership on Amazon, Microsoft will not supply him any Windows updates, Apple has disabled his iPhone from using the new Siri AI features and Facebook will keep re-installing itself automatically on his Android phone, everytime he tries to delete it.

A Tesla Inc director and a former executive took the stand on Monday and defended Elon Musk's $56 billion pay package against a shareholder's claims that the entrepreneur dictated terms of the deal to finance his dream of traveling to Mars.
Troll told FNN:
This money is a direct threat to Mars and our plans for world domination here on Earth, as we know it will be used by Musk's various companies to further his invasion and colonization plans for the red planet.
