Trump has recently compared UK PM Keir Starmer to former UK PM Neville Chamberlain.
Chamberlain is mainly remembered for his 'appeasement' of Adolf Hitler prior to WW2 and waving his 'peace in our time' piece of paper.
Now FNN is no big fan of Barmy Starmy but he is quite right to take no notice of the jibe.
For one thing, Chamberlain was returning from a meeting with an agressor who had threatened more aggression to come.
As far as we know, Starmer was not returning from a meeting with Trump - the Iran war aggressor - and claiming he had secured any peace in our time.
In fact, the reason for the jibe was that Starmer was apparently - although who really knows these days - doing the opposite: not co-operating with an aggressor.
But as usual, the US administration's grasp of history is at soundbite level.
