Following the fallout from the Farage de-banking scandal, FNN has learned that banks are considering implementing a new onboarding questionnaire to determine if potential new customers represent a "reputational risk".

FNN has seen a copy of the new questionnaire that includes questions such as:

  • Did you vote for Brexit?
  • Would you like Trump to win the next US election?
  • Do you believe that not everything the BBC tells you is kosher?
  • Do you sometimes play 'spot the white man' while watching TV adverts?
  • Do you long for the days of PG Tips adverts featuring various charming chimps?

According to our anonymous source, answering Yes to any of these questions will automatically bar you from opening an account but only after you have made an initial deposit of £1000 that you won't get back for ages due to 'an administrative error erroneously blocking your pin number and preventing access to your funds'.
