If you don't like an author because their views do not exactly align with yours but you enjoy their books and want them to remain on your bookshelf, there is now a way out:
Re-Authoring!
Re-Authoring allows you to buy an 'alternative' dust jacket for a book that either omits the author's name or replaces it with someone else - even your own name.
J K Rowling's Harry Potter books are now being subject to re-authoring by a Toronto book-artist who does not believe that 'only women bleed' as the song once claimed.
So now you can take comfort from denying the creativity of the author of a work, give your books a new authorial identity and stick it to the man!
For example you could buy Lady Chatterley's Lover by Mary Whitehouse or 50 Shades of Grey by the Archbishop of Canterbury - if that's what you want.
FNN predicts a new market in alternative book jackets that could be on Amazon soon, probably as a new 'Prime' membership offering.
