The latest inquiry touching on the alleged poisoning of the Skripals by Russia raises more questions than answers and makes the whole thing look similar to another suspicious death - that of WMD inspector Dr Kelly.

Salisbury novichok poisonings: Seven questions to be answered by inquiry
The long-awaited report into the death of Dawn Sturgess is being published today.
There are many strange facts about the Skripal case as Sky reports:.
- The inquiry heard he [Skripal] wasn't on the radar of either Wiltshire Police or counter terrorism police and he was living under his real name without any apparent security systems or CCTV.
- The lead scientific adviser to police investigating the attack, known only by the codename MK26, told the inquiry a sample the size of "a third to a sixth of a grain of salt" could have been a fatal dose for a human and "many lethal doses" were likely applied.
-
One of the most surprising moments of the inquiry came when fresh CCTV footage showed an already-poisoned Mr Skripal handing a little boy a piece of bread to feed the ducks. The boy and two others he was with fell ill, but no traces of novichok were found in their systems.
-
The inquiry heard Charlie Rowley, who was too ill to give evidence, has given "confused and contradictory" accounts about where he picked up the bottle - which was contained in a sealed Nina Ricci Premier Jour perfume box - with the nerve agent inside.
- The bottle found by Mr Rowley was inside sealed plastic packaging so he would have had no suspicions about what was inside.
- The Skripals did not give evidence at the inquiry due to safety concerns, but in a statement, Mr Skripal said only Mr Putin could have authorised the attack.
People have written whole books about this case and the more 'evidence' that comes out, the murkier the whole affair seems to be.
It is unbelievable that the Skripals [under MI5/MI6 protection] were living in plain sight with no CCTV around their house, that the deadly nerve agent did not kill anyone it was supposed (except Dawn Sturgess who apparently sprayed it on herself), that the Russian agents were tracked throughout their stay in the UK and that the Skripals did not testify at the inquiry via a video link as anyone can write a statement.
It feels like the death of Dr Kelly all over again.
