Tesla stock rose on the back of news that Elon Musk's new Cyberwhistle has already sold out on its way to becoming the hottest christmas gift of the year so far.
The electric whistle is rumoured to be linked to the mythical Tesla Cybertruck and it is thought that the whistle tone is unique to a specific truck vehicle identification number (VIN) so it can be used to open the doors of the trunk, flash the lights or honk the horn at passing babes, turn on the heating and generally interact with the truck in ways yet to be defined.
The Cyberwhistle costs just $50 but has a range of only half a kilometer and needs to be recharged regularly using Tesla-specific charging stations.
A Tesla spokesperson told FNN:
We are very pleased with the success of the Cyberwhistle, however there is no truth in the rumours that buying a whistle will entitle you to a seat on the SpaceX mission to Mars.
But every whistle will include automatic updates to the whistle's built-in software. The first update will provide the initial 'blowjob skill' to whistle the theme tune from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly on demand.
