The infamous Tinto Brass movie Caligula (1980) is to be re-released in North America with a PG rating to reflect societal changes.

A spokesperson explained:

Now that kids can access explicit hardcore pornography and live-sex webcams during their school-day breaks, Caligula is quite tame by comparison.

So that's why the rating has been changed in order to allow children to learn about that naughty Roman Emperor.

According to the CEO of Drafthouse Films, who are releasing Caligula: The Ultimate Cut:
