The Monkeypox!

Hot on the heels of COVID and some decades after the Funky Gibbon was popular in the UK, the Monkeypox is sweeping across the USA leading to many claiming that this is another sign of loose morals and minimal use of underwear.

The 'pox', as it is known to afficinados, is a dance that begins with the ringing of bells and the cry of 'Bring out your dead' before the dancers hit the floor after a few shots of JYNNEOS, a gin-based drug that causes the dancers to behave much like whirling dervishes on crack.

A swinging spokesperson for UK comedians, The Goodies, told FNN:

We think the Monkeypox is merely a derivative of Do...do...do...the Funky Gibbon and not really a new dance at all. Oo-Oo-Ah-Ah.

EU spokesperson Ursula von Richthofen commented:

I used to do the Funky Gibbon as a teenager in my lederhosen in Wuppertal! I still have it on a well-worn 45rpm vinyl single. I am excited to learn more about the Monkeypox - or as we call it in Germany Der Affepocken - and how we can regulate it here in the EU. Vorsprung Durch Teknik!
