A man arrested when approaching a Trump rally in Coachella Valley, CA was probably not trying to kill the former President as this would be a 'dramatic' conclusion according to some media critics of the local sheriff.

Sky News reported:

During the press conference, Sheriff Bianco was asked if he was being dramatic when he suggested his officers had stopped an assassination attempt.

"If we are that politically lost that we have lost sight of common sense and reality and reason, that we can't say 'Holy crap, what did he show up with all that stuff for and loaded guns?', and I'm going to be accused of being dramatic, we have a serious problem in this country because this is common sense and reason," he said.

This was clearly just an other ordinary American going about their business, as according to the sheriff, he was armed with a shotgun, a loaded handgun and a high-capacity magazine along with multiple passports and driving licences with different names, an unregistered vehicle and a homemade license plate.

What's suspicious about that?

Isn't that the way we all go to political rallies?

But wait. In order to deflect thoughts that this could be another possible assassination attempt on Trump, which might benefit his campaign, it is now claimed that the man arrested is a right-wing supporter of Trump.

Phew! So that's OK then. Just another right-wing nutjob. A good job he did not turn up at a Harris rally, where the reaction from the press might have been a little different.

Smoke and mirrors are alive and well in the world of 'real' news.
