Demo tapes of songs by rock legend Jimi Hendrix that were found in his manager's wastebin by his assistant are to be auctioned and are expected to earn a fortune.
FNN has learned that the songs include covers of:
- Grandad by Clive Dunn
- Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris
- All Kinds of Everything by Dana
- Young Gifted and Black by Bob and Marcia
- Gimme Dat Ding by The Pipkins
- Groovin' with Mr Bloe by Mr Bloe
- Chirpy, Chirpy Cheep Cheep by Lally Stott (that he recorded before it became a hit in 1971 for Middle of the Road)
Hendrix was thought to be in a 'purple haze' when he recorded the songs.
