While the 'experience economy' is booming for adults, it is expected to expand into new ventures to provide experiences for kids who are currently glued to their phones or tablets or gaming consoles.
A spokesperson explained:
Kids can also benefit from a new range of experiences to enrich their lives, including:
- kicking a ball around in the street with other kids
- riding a bicycle or a scooter or a spacehopper
- making a model kit and painting it
- exploring a disused building site
- going fishing
- reading a book
We expect a boom in providing new experience events and 'experience in a box' kits targeted at kids who seldom leave their bedrooms and spend most of their time online living in world's created by programmers and now AI.
