Neuralink, the brain chip company owned by Elon Musk, says it has received permission to start recruiting for human clinical trials.

Although their brain chip is designed to be inserted into a region of the brain that controls the intention to move, it could also be inserted anywhere else.

A spokesperson explained:

A new version of our chip can monitor your thoughts and through our new Xtend app you can opt to have your thoughts automatically posted on our X-platform to save you the bother of having to type them out.

BTW - this functionality is only available to paid subscribers on X.

The company is looking for clinical-trial participants and has extended an invitation to the leader of the Davos-based Mysterons to take part.

Their leader, aka 'The Hood', told FNN:

There is no way we are going to allow Elon to monitor our thoughts in order to somehow prevent The Great Reboot or assist in his colonization of Mars. Nooooooo Waaay!

He then accidentally 'matter-transformed' his phone into a pork-pie.
