Following the lead of London Mayor Sadiq Kahn to export gas-guzzling, high emission 4x4s to the Ukraine instead of scrapping them due to ULEZ regulations, it is now thought that oil boilers replaced by heat pumps will also go to the Ukraine.

A spokesperson explained:

The only way we are going to get to net-zero is by exporting our emissions to somewhere else and why not the Ukraine?

Due to supply chain problems, 4x4s are in demand from Ukrainian oligarchs, drug lords, porn kings and whatnot and there's the benefit that some of their emissions may waft over into Russian controlled territory and pollute the lungs of the Russian aggressors. Bonus!

The oil boilers can be converted to LPG gas so that the Ukraine can also be weaned onto expensive US shale gas like the rest of Europe now that Russian oil and gas is all going East due to sanctions and the fact that someone blew up the Nordstream 2 pipeline.
