In the run up to the Tokyo Olympics a trans athlete has been criticized for wearing shorts that displayed her equipment "like a takeaway bratwurst and curry balls" according to a German race official.
This follows a similar incident when a female athlete complained after being told that doing the pole-vault in a thong was "inappropriate".
The display of male 'lunchboxes' has been a feature of international sport for some years now, especially as their lycra has become shorter and tighter. But now with trans-women competing in female events we should expect to see the odd boner at the start of races as the rest of the field takes their marks.
A spokesperson for the Olympic committee told FNN:
There is nothing problematic about trans-women getting boners at the start of races. This is an inevitable consequence of their rightful inclusion amongst a pack of fit female athletes clad in tight bikini bottoms. So just get over it you cis idiots.
