FNN is launching a new competition to highlight outrageous lies in this era of fake news, fact-checking and disinformation.

Now you, our esteemed readers, can post lies directly to FNN.

Lies will only be eligible for the competition if they are verifiably not true, in line with FNN values and funny.

If you include your email address on your lie submission you will be eligible for the Addison DeWitt Lie of the Month Award, worth £100 in the form of a gift voucher sent by email.

Who knew you could get paid for lying!
