FNN has learned that the USA has reached out to the Europeans for eggs due to a shortage in the USA pushing up prices.

One of the countries approached is Denmark, who have generously offered the total surplus egg production of Greenland (6 eggs) to the USA.

The eggs will be dispatched in a special coolbox made in the shape of a tiny hand-made igloo complete with a Danish flag and a smiling Eskimo figure raising his middle finger.

Canada has also offered the USA an unlimited supply of cracked eggs recovered from supermarket shelves in exchange for removing the tariff on their principal export to the USA - maple syrup.

UK eggbox manufacturer Henpac has reported an uptick in demand for their 'eggceptional sustainable packaging' on the back of this new US demand, something that UK PM Sir Keir Starmer has celebrated as evidence of the 'special grocery relationship' between the USA and the UK.

Wily President Zelensky has offered to sign an 'Eggs from Ukraine' agreement with President Trump in exchange for more weapons from the USA. 

The eggs, sourced exclusively from the wholly organic Chernobyl region of Ukraine, will be packed in commemorative yellow and blue 'Get Scrambling (F16s)' boxes and come with a personally signed thank-you note from Zelensky.
