The EU has proposed a new digital 'green card' to facilitate travel around the EU post COVID. The proposed green card will provide information detailing:
- Proof that a person has been vaccinated
- Results of tests for those who cannot get a vaccine yet
- Info on COVID19 recovery
There will be special additions required for specific countries, for example the UK, where the card will be required to confirm whether the card holder voted to leave or remain in the EU. This is so that leave voters can be turned back at the border.
Australian immigration expert, Bill "Battler" Heslop had this to say:

As soon as there's an excuse to impose restrictions on entry and movement within the EU, the bastards take it!

EU spokesperson Ursula von Richthofen told FNN:
The new green card will be required for British travellers.
However it will not be required for migrants coming into the EU as they will be vaccinated on arrival using our stockpile of expired vaccinations stored in a bunker near Peenemunde.
By requiring vaccine passports we will preserve our cherished freedom of movement since anyone with a valid green card passport will be allowed to enter the EU and travel within it. Of course, anyone without it will not.
