US accused of 'inventing a war' as it moves largest aircraft carrier to South America
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that Washington would treat anyone smuggling drugs in the Western Hemisphere as if they were members of al Qaeda. But Democrats say such attacks risk war.
If that's the case then Al Qaeda just grew by about a million people.
The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R Ford is named after the US President who famously told New York city to 'drop dead' in 1975 after it asked for a federal bailout to prevent bankrupcy.
Trump is hoping that Maduro - head of the so-called 'narco state' of Venezuela - will also drop dead.

The Trump administration is currently waging war on Venezuela and threatening war with Colombia over evidence-free claims that the country’s presidents, Nicolás Maduro and Gustavo Petro, are involved in the drug trade and are leading “Narco States”. One of the most outrageous elements of this propaganda campaign is- as journalist Seth Harp documents in his new book, “The Fort Bragg Cartel: Drug Trafficking and Murder in the Special Forces” - the role U.S. foreign policy plays in drug trafficking, most recently through installing a heroin trafficking puppet regime in Afghanistan. |
