Following their 60 Minutes interview of US VP Kamala Harris, CBS have introduced a new interviewing technique that they claim enhances freedom of speech.

A spokesperson explained:

In traditional interviews, interviewers ask a question and interviewees give an answer.

But what if there could be multiple answers to the same question?

We think our viewers deserve the optimum in freedom of speech, so our website now offers our viewers the ability to hear either the original answer the interviewee gave or select one of a number of other answers we think they should hear.

Although this new technique was first applied to the Harris interview, in order to make sense of her customary 'word salad', we look forward to using it when and if former President Trump elects to do a 60 Minutes interview.
