Twitter has announced the launch of a new website called "Canary Wharf" to enable users to provide context around tweets thought to communicate ideas that do not fit Twitter's definition of the "correct" narrative.
The new users of this site, the so-called "canaries", are those Twitter users who "call-out" the disputed Tweets so they can be subject to the critical eye of Canary Wharf "moderation" and "contextualization".
A Twitter spokesperson, the aptly named Orwell Stasi, commented:
By moving tweets from the mainstream Twitter platform to Canary Wharf we can not only ensure these unwanted opinions do not influence our gullible users but we can also subject the offending tweets to unrelenting criticism in order to shut them up permanently.
A spokesperson for the New York Golden Warriors gang told FNN:
We hate stoolies. A pigeon for a pigeon.
Terry Malloy told us:
I coulda bin a contender. Instead I just went along with the others playing deaf and dumb to stuff I didn't want to hear just like my brother, Charlie "Tweet" Malloy.
