After a barista at a Seattle coffee shop drive thru had a hot drink thrown at her by a customer, leading coffee chains such as Costly Coffee and Starblows have announced that barista training will now include how to handle a crowbar.
A spokesperson explained:
Our staff do not appreciate having hot drinks thrown at them and are perfectly within their rights to smash the car windscreens of customers angry that their skinny two-percent latte with a vanilla shot doesn't taste quite as good as the last one they bought.
All our baristas will now be issued with crowbars and trained how to use them in negative customer-facing situations.
Former San Francisco cop 'Dirty' Harry Callahan has been retained to help staff quickly identify 'salty dudes' so they can blow them away with a shotgun or .357 magnum before they cause any trouble.
All drive-thrus are to equipped with prominent new signage asking: Do you feel lucky?
Well do you?
