The US mainstream media has announced that it will no longer attend White House press briefings under President-elect Joe Biden because everything the new administration says will be true so there will be no opportunity to report any fake news or be nasty to anyone. 

Activist "journalists" are reported to be relieved that they will no longer have to attend boring White House briefings and instead can focus on rooting out stories of right-wing conspiracies among the 70 million plus white-supremacists who voted for Trump in the 2020 election.

Some activists expressed concerns that now, instead of being wined and dined in Washington by lobbying groups or rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood elite, they will instead be forced to spend more time in Motel Six hotels in the flyover states trying to find fake news to report by hanging around fast-food joints, 7-Elevens and gun stores.

One activist journalist, who asked to remain anonymous, commented off-the-record to FNN:

The election of Biden is a disaster for the reporting of fake news, especially given that he insists on using paper telegrams to make his announcements rather than the online tweets posted by Trump.

And anyway how can you be nasty about such a nice old man as Biden? He doesn't have orange hair and looks just like my Dad who also lives in the basement.

In reality, we are going to miss Donald and Melania and I hope they will be back in 2024 so we can return to some serious personal abuse and fake news generation, secure in the knowledge that no-one will care what we come up with.
