While the market for full-body air dryers is currently worth less than $100 million, Elon Musk is being his usual visionary self by betting on a new market for full-body maintenance (FBM) machines targeted at Seniors and anyone else who has difficulties with personal hygiene.
In order to jumpstart his entry into this market, Musk has done a deal with Wallace and Gromit to create a full body maintenance machine similar to their previously successful device that prevents you from putting on the incorrect trousers.
The FBM will look much like an individual-sized shower cubicle and is packed with functionality including:
- showering and drying
- ear wax removal
- nosehair clipping
- bottom wiping
A distribution deal has already been done with Amazon to provide these devices as part of the Amazon Prime Senior service offering.
There is also the promise of an exciting future upgrade path including a range of clip-on "sexual satisfaction" devices provided by Ann Summers, so you can start the day with a bang or a whimper.
Wallace commented:
Eeeh lad. I can see these FBM devices being more popular than Wensleydale cheese.
Gromit raised one eyebrow.
