Despite the desperate gloss being put on the meeting between Trump and Zelensky by the MSM, the body language tells it all.
Zelensky looked like a broken man in interviews after the meeting when he was faced with the full might of Trump's inner circle none of whom gave him much cause for hope that Tomahawk missiles would be be supplied quickly.
The meeting took place after Andrea Bocelli serenaded Trump in the White House with Time to Say Goodbye.
Perhaps a more appropriate tune would have been: The Party's Over (It's time to call it a day).
Zelensky claims, undoubtedly rightly, that Putin is afraid of the Tomahawks, but the real point is that everyone should be - especially in Berlin, London and Warsaw - because bombarding Russia with cruise missiles can only mean one thing: An escalation of the proxy war with NATO and retaliation.
Russia is not Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya or Yugoslavia. It has its own cruise missiles.
And maybe Putin will adopt one of Starmer's policies: One in, one out.

Trump repeated several times his belief that Putin is committed to ending the war, which may come as a surprise to the people of eastern Ukraine, being pummeled by an expanded Russian offensive in the past few months.

The MSM seems to forget that Trump really doesn't care about 'Biden's war' - humanitarian issues aside - because he is gearing up the US for the impending confrontation with China, for which the war in Ukraine is just an unhelpful distraction.
