Following a spat with Fox News host Tucker Carlson over the inclusion of pregnant women in the military, the Pentagon have issued this helpful clarification.

The core mission of the miltary is to win wars by killing people.

If pregnant women want to risk both themselves and their babies being killed or having to kill other preganant women on the battlefield, this is a personal and patriotic choice that modern women can make.

As another example, when one of our drones strikes a bunch of civilians, which it often does, you can't expect operators in the heat of the moment to identify if a woman is pregnant or not before they push the button.

So we just kill them all. A bit like the church used to do with Cathar heretics.

By the way, killing pregnant women is called a "two-fer" in military parlance.

The US military is all about inclusion. By which we mean anyone can be killed and anyone can kill anyone else, pregnant or not. The days of chivalry are dead. Get with the program.
