An album of what appears to be frogs croaking may knock Taylor Swift off the top of the ARIA charts this Christmas.

While this album has been reported as comprising the sounds of frogs croaking, FNN can exclusively reveal that the sound is actually that of the indie Australian band The Croakin Cobbers after they have had a skinful of Fosters.

The lead singer of the Cobbers, Gonzo "Pepe" Koolabar, told FNN:

We've spent a lot of time perfecting our croaking through many nights in the outback with a truckful of tinnies. I don't remember hearing any frogs. Basically, our croaking changes depending on what beer we've been drinking.

Bill "Battler" Heslop commented:

Croaking Cobbers? I prefer the Seekers mate. Hey Muriel! Fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched.

Taylor Swift was not avaliable for comment.
