Russia 'doomed to defeat' and may face 'shameful peace', says ultranationalist blogger

A prominent Russian ultranationalist military commentator has warned Russia is "doomed to defeat", according to a new update from the Institute for the Study of War.

The ultra-nationalist blogger is unnamed and there is no link to his source post so who really knows whether he is Russian, Ukrainian or from somewhere else?

Why is the blogger not named - to avoid the long-arm of Putin?

If he/she is in fact 'A prominent Russian ultranationalist military and political commentator' then Putin presumably knows who this commentator is.

So why not provide a link to his blog so we can all read it for ourselves?

The assessment may be right or wrong but attributing it to an unnamed blogger kinda reduces its value.
