Hungary has announced a new premium bus service going from Roszke to Brussels.

The service is completely free of charge and will be provided using brand new, air-conditioned, net-zero electric coaches purchased from China.

The service is expected to be popular with migrants who want to exit Hungary and get to more favorable countries such as Germany, Sweden or the UK.

But Hungarian citizens can also use it as a cheap way to stock up on Belgian waffles. However, only a one-way ticket is offered.

The EU has protested because free bus services undermine the EU's Common Regional Automobile Policy (CRAP) that forbids members from undercutting other members' bus services.

A spokesperson explained:

The EU doesn't subsidize Hungary in order for it to provide free bus services. This is outrageous.

But it would be OK if it was being paid for with interest stolen from sanctioned Russian assets.
