Voters in Pennsylvania were no doubt surprised to find Donald Trump handing them meals while he put in a shift at a local McDonalds.
Journalists who began to ask whether this was just another pre-eection publicity stunt by Trump were handed a cloth and told:
If there's time to lean, there's time to clean.
So true.
According to The Spectator:
There’s Trump salting the fries. There’s Trump manning the drive-thru window. ‘This is compliments of Trump,’ he says handing over the bags of junk food. ‘Look at this guy, I’m not going to mess with him,’ he says, charmingly, before adding: ‘Don’t eat too much.’
Nigel Farage has also offered to join Trump to help serve the milkshakes.
Bill "Burger" Heslop, former Australian McDonalds worked, told FNN:
I worked in a McDonalds in central London when I used to live at Earls Court.
A Hungarian sailor operating the fries station on the night shift invited me back to his place to listen to some records.
I didn't go.
Hey Muriel! Fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched.
