Musk used his appearance at the World Government Summit to criticize the idea of a singular political authority, telling the audience:

I know this is called the World Government Summit, but I think we should be maybe a little bit concerned about actually becoming too much of a single world government.

We want to avoid creating a civilizational risk by having, frankly — this may sound a little odd — too much cooperation between governments.

Musk may be onto something as one the world's greatest threats, the Martian Mysterons, based in Davos Switzerland, told FNN:

Elon is right. For us, having a single world government will be the easiest way for us to destroy you all as everyone tries to act in unison to counter an external threat, instead of fighting back according to their various capabilities.

Earthmen...we are peaceful beings. And you have tried to destroy us. But you cannot succeed. You and your people will pay for any act of aggression. This is the voice of the Mysterons.

We know that you can hear us, Earthmen. Our retaliation will be slow, but nonetheless effective. It will mean the ultimate destruction of life on Earth. It will be useless for you to resist, for we have discovered the secret of reversing matter, as you have just witnessed.

We were then handed a pork pie that was created by reversing the matter from a Swiss Raclette cheese.
