The Daily Mail has a great headline (18/11/2025) highlighting the absurdity of the backlash (cruel, dystopian etc.) against UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood's proposed changes to the UK's asylum system:

The Home Secretary is trying her best to 'get a grip' of the illegal immigration crisis: We could do with a few more f**kin' P**is like her in government to shake things up a bit.

Nigel Farage must be worried as Mahmood is looking like a one-woman Reform killer with this latest set of policy proposals that reflect the necessary steps the Danes have taken to claw back their society from the abyss.

Meanwhile The Spectator newsletter says that UK PM Keir Starmer remains ‘utterly focused on what matters to me most’.

By which he means holding onto power, so he can lead Labour at the next election, while everything goes to pot around him.
