Elon Musk's Boring Company has announced that it will introduce a new form of underground tunneling known as "nano tunnels" which will revolutionize the delivery of fiber-optic services to homes across the USA.

These nano tunnels will be bored by specially trained moles who are currently being educated in their millions at the Boring Company's HQ in an asteroid sized impact depression located at Big Hole, Wyoming.

Once they have completed their training, the moles will be released into gardens all over the USA to start burrowing a vast network of nano-tunnels that will all be inter-connected and lead back to the Big Hole HQ. Musk calls this the "Nano-Grid".

When asked where he got this innovative idea from he claimed it came from those ant-farm advertisements found in the back pages of Marvel comics next to the ones about X-Ray specs (the same ads that inspired Google Glasses as also reported by FNN). 

Since he tweeted about this new development before the moles were fully trained, Musk is currently being investigated by the S.E.C. as the price of worms has skyrocketed on the Chicago Commodities exchange.
