After a man in his 60s was run over by his own car, a silver Audi A60 appeared in court charged with the new crime of car homicide.

The Audi pleaded Not Guilty and asked for a number of other charges of speeding and unreported car park door-dingings to be taken into consideration.

Justice Henry Ford summed up this landmark case by saying:

No longer can cars get away with attempted murder.

This driver, and other pedestrians nearby, only just escaped with their lives after you, Audi A60, ran amok on a public road.

I am sentencing you to 100 hours community service as a tram in Sheffield.

The Audi A60 was led away to have its wheels replaced so it could run on tram rails.

Meanwhile, someone from the public gallery shouted: Vorsprung Durch Teknik!
