Following the dumping of "salacious adult literature" in a village post box library in Hampshire, the Church of England has put out a call for more such inappropriate material dumps to be set up in parishes around the country.
The Vicar of Bighorn Tarrant church in Hampshire explained:
The COVID lockdown has meant that many more people are consuming inapproriate books and magazines than is normal, so they are looking for ways to easily dispose of this content when they are done with it.
This material can be sold on the Internet, or even to parishioners in need, providing a useful source of income to pay for altar wine, communion wafers, incense and so on.
So the Church of England will be setting up more "porn dumps" in old red telephone boxes to help people dispose of this material in an ethical and Christian way.
We are especially looking for inapproriate LGBT material as this seems to be what an increasing number of our parishioners are interested in these days.
