Phillipson blocks trans rules protecting safe spaces for women
Minister is challenging guidance that would require businesses and public bodies to offer female-only lavatories
The Women and Equalities Secretary has given a statement to the High Court describing the proposed rules as “trans-exclusive” and has failed to sign them off more than three months after receiving them.
The previous policies were 'women-exclusive' given that they excluded women who were unhappy sharing their female-only spaces with transitioned men.
But the minister did not have a problem with that.
She uses the ridiculous logic that with the new policy, women could not take their infant sons into their changing rooms.
But their infant sons are not transitioned men who may get some sexual pleasure from inhabiting women's spaces.
This argument shows just how nonsensical all this trans stuff has become.
