In the run up to a winter when electricity bills are set to rocket, Tesla electric onesies are expected to fly off the shelves as we search for a means to keep warm when our thermostats are set to 15 degrees.
The Tesla onesie (aka a 'Teslie') receives its power wirelessly from the nearest plug outlet so it can be worn all over the house. It includes special hotspot zones which can be turned on and off using the app and premium versions include built-in massagers for relieving tension (when you get your energy bill that is).
A spokesperson for Tesla told FNN:
Our new Teslies will retail for $5000, which sounds like a lot, but is actually only what the predicted electricity bill will be for most people in Britain next winter. Each Teslie comes with a special stand so you can use the app to heat up your Teslie to ensure it's toastie warm when you come home from work.
