Robots are increasingly used as 'put and pick' devices in delivery warehouses. A major grocery delivery chain had to cancel hundreds of orders and call in the Police and Fire Brigade after a bunch of robots had a fight over their automated delivery routings and caught fire as a result.

A Police spokesperson told FNN:

We were called to a large warehouse as a result of a dispute between 3 'non-human' actors who appeared to be in dispute about who was in the correct lane in the warehouse. As a result of this robo road rage, the robots caught fire and various products were thrown at staff who were evacuated for their safety.

We normally only see this kind of thing outside pubs and nightclubs of a weekend.

EU spokesperson Ursula von Richthofen commented:

What can you expect when Brexit Britain insists on driving on the the left and everyone else in the EU drives on the right. Even their robots don't like it! Vorsprung durch Teknik!
