Peloton is rumoured to be about to announce a new Peloton cycle branded as Peloton Net Zero endorsed by none other than Swedish Lutheran minister, Greta Thunderberg.
Not only is the new cycle connected to the Internet it is also connected to the electricity grid, the idea being that you use your cycle to generate power for your home. This is not a new idea. The British inventor Heath Robinson, envisaged a similar device decades ago, although it looked a bit more complicated than the sleek Peloton.
Apparently, if you and your family manage to use the Peloton Net Zero 24/7 for a year, you will not only reduce carbonn emissions but also provide enough power to make one 'free' cheese toastie per day - all for the Peloton Net Zero subscription cost of only £156 plus VAT per month.
FNN has learned that Greggs may be considering installing Peloton Net Zeros in all their stores so that customers can generate enough power to get 10% off a bacon roll by spending their lunch hour pedalling on the device.
