It feels like the MSM is still trying to explain away 'Asian' grooming gangs as an example of blatant racism.
In its data-driven 'explainer', Sky News seems keen to point out:
White child sexual abuse perpetrators are over-represented compared to the wider population, while Asians are under-represented
The chart picked for the article shows:
[Source: ONS, Vulnerability Knowledge & Practice Programme, Hydrant Programme]
1. That white (and black) child sexual abuse perpetrators are over represented compared to the population by 1% compared to Asian perpetrators who are under-represented by 2%.
2. That white (and black) child sex abuse victims are over represented compared to the population by 3% compared to Asian victims who are under-represented by 6%.
So one interpretation of this data, flawed as Sky admits it may be, is that everyone is abusing white and black children more than Asian children. So why is that?
One of the main takeways from the 'Asian' grooming gangs scandal is that the basis for abuse was racial - unless you believe all white girls are 'sluts' - because 'predominantly Pakistani' gangs were not grooming girls from their own communities but from white communities.
In this case, it wasn't just the scale of the abuse that was disgusting it was also the targeting of the abuse.
Isn't it odd that we do not hear much about all these 'over represented' white or black perpetrators/grooming gangs targeting Asian children?
