Due to rail, air, bus, tram and cycle strikes in Christmas-crisis Britain, the road network is expected to be particularly busy this year so FNN has issued this advisory on which roads to avoid:
- Any road beginning with M
- Any road beginning with A
- Any road beginning with B
- Any road beginning with C
Drivers should also be particularly careful to avoid any road that goes North, South, East or West.
A spokesperson for the Automobile Association (AA) breakdown service told FNN:
This is very good advice. Hopefully, if all drivers avoid all roads beginning with M, A, B and C there will be fewer jams, fewer accidents and plenty of tea breaks for our roadside engineers.
