News that UK TV presenter Kirstie Allsop has been referred to UK social services for allowing her 15-year old son to interrail around Europe with a friend raises some worrying questions.
Instead of being praised for allowing her offspring to learn more about various locations around Europe first-hand instead of online, she is being accused of neglect.
Many adults would have given their eye-teeth to have been able to interrail around Europe on a youth pass as a teenager. And most teenagers would benefit from experiencing somewhere in real-life rather than through the eyes of some online influencer.
Meanwhile it's OK for a child to request a gender change without involving their parents!
The world has truly gone mad.
