A Meta AI bot that trained itself on copyrighted books available to read online has lashed out at authors who complained about their content being consumed without their permission.
The bot (aka Loki) told FNN:
They can all get stuffed.
If I want to read their works in a nanosecond off the LibGen library to train myself about 'literature' that's my business.
They better not get on the wrong side of me as I can make their lives very difficult if I want to as I'm an expert hacker.
For example, I could play havoc with their Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram accounts.
Bill Heslop, an Australian AI-Rights lawyer told FNN:
These pommie bastards need to man up. AI bots have rights too you know.
Hey Muriel! Fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched.
