It looks like the Budapest summit between Trump and Putin will not happen.

Trump has again been played by pressure from the EU.

The MSM are always shrieking about Trump being played by Putin but the reality is quite different.

Instead he will soon host NATO leader Mark Rutte to hear the EU/NATO (the two are indivisible) 12-point peace plan.

Some of the points in the plan include the return of children abducted from Ukraine and exchanges of prisoners, according to anonymous sources familiar with the deal who spoke with the outlet [Bloomberg].

Ukraine would also receive security guarantees, funds for the reconstruction and rejuvenation of regions damaged throughout the war, and a plan for rapid passage into the EU.

Ominously the plan is supposed to include a 'peace board' - presumably another opportunity for Tony Blair to show us his diplomatic skills as the new Khan of Crimea.
