The EU has decided not to counter the Russian invasion of Ukraine as it claims Russia does not have any WMDs.

EU spokesperson Ursula von Richthofen explained this conundrum:

The last illegal war we started in Iraq was based on the premise that Iraq had a stash of WMDs. That proved to be a mistake, but we still went ahead and killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis anyway. We are not going to make the same mistake again.

That's why our position is that Russia does NOT have any WMDs so there is no justification for countering Russian aggression in the Ukraine.
