A new pub has opened in Sydney called The Cliff Bar run by a former Australian SAS trooper.

The bar's unique selling point (USP) is the use of unusual receptacles for serving the drinks.

Beer is served in the stump of prosthetic limbs and champagne in hollowed-out prosthetic feet.

The landlord explained:

This is how we used to drink our beer in Afghanistan where there was a shortage of glasses but plenty of people with prosthetic limbs who were happy to lend us their limbs for a drinking session - especially if the alternative was being thrown off a cliff.

It's quite handy to be able to stand up your beer by a table, a bit like a wine bucket, so we think the trend might catch on.
