Rumour has it that UK environmental activist "Swampy" is to becomes the face of Elon Musk's Boring Company.

Swampy has recently been in the news for his participation in the HS2 high-speed rail protest-tunneling around Euston, London.

Swampy has spent much of his protesting life living in tunnels and would therefore be well-suited to a new role as the face of the Boring Company.

A spokesperson for the Boring Company told FNN:

We are very pleased that Swampy is considering working with the Boring Company.

He represents a unique combination of tunneling knowhow and environmental street-cred that makes him perfect for work with our tunneling business.

In future, the tunnels he has inspected will be branded with a new "Swampy Certified" logo to reassure everyone that the environmental aspects have been approved by Swampy.

Elon recently mentioned Swampy in a tweet and the share price of real-estate company Swampland Industries went through the roof!

A spokesperson for Greta Thunderberg, the foxy blond Swedish webcam sensation and Lutheran Minister commented:

Greta will be preaching about the ethics, morality and environmental impact of tunneling as part of a series of sermons planned for the Church of England's new eco-church in Lambeth, London. Her sermon is entitled: "Boring your Audience: Tunneling into the rabbit-hole minds of climate-change deniers".

Swampy was unavailable for comment as he was underground at the time.
