The Australian Government is coming in for criticism over awarding the Companion of the Order of Australia to former champion tennis player and now pastor Margaret Court.

Abby Winters, a spokesperson for the Australian LGBT community, took time out from a webcam shoot to tell FNN:

Court's hateful views on gays should not be rewarded with this symbol of colonial oppression. They should have awarded it to Billie-Jean or Martina or that fox Chrissy Evert. Why does it have to be given to an Australian straight person?

And anyway, how are we going to attract more LGBT people to tennis if all the awards are going to talented former players?

We asked for a comment from former indigenous hippie tennis star, Yvonne Billabong, and she told us:

You mean Margaret isn't gay? Far out!

Listen...can you hear the songlines singing...they're telling me to go walkabout.

Maybe I'll run into that babe Jenny Agutter and we'll take a naked swim together?

A spokesperson for the Australian honours committee, Bill "Battler" Heslop had this to say:

They don't like the award? They can shove it up their ass. Or fanny. Either way, it's all the same to me.

Margaret never worried about being in the same changing room as those gay fuckers while she was playing so what's all the fuss about?

These people need to grow a pair. Or get rid of a pair, whatever.

Hey Muriel...get me a tinny. I'm parched.
