UK played 'vital role' in Gaza peace deal, says Trump aide, after minister branded 'delusional'

America's envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, insisted Britain had played a key part in securing Gaza peace deal, contradicting the US ambassador to Israel.

What clearly is delusional is that this is a hardly a peace deal and but merely a temporary cessation of hostilities, whether the UK had anything to do with it our not, as the ceasefire lasted just a few hours before Sky News also reported:
